Abraham Goad's will is recorded on page 238 of Richmond Co., Va., Will Book V; inventory on page 240 Imprimus, I give and bequeath to my grandson, William Goad, son of William Goad, that plantation whereon Mary Goad now lives and all the land thereto belonging on that side of the swamp up to Mr. Griffin's line (excepting a small piece of land I have given bond to Mr. William Downman for the acknowledgement of). Item, I give and bequeath to my son, John Goad, and his wife all the land that lies above the North Fork of the briary swamp that belongs to me up to Oakley's line... Item, I give to my son, Abraham Goad, all the land lying on the south side of my spring branchin case.... the said Abraham should die without heirs, then the said land to fall to my son, Peter Goad .... Item, I give unto my son, Peter Goad, all the land lying on the north side of my spring branch ... Item, I give to the heirs of my son, William Goad, dec'd, one shilling to be paid by ... To my daughter, Hannah Phillips, one shilling ... To my daughter, Elizabeth Dodson, one shilling.... To my daughter, (Alice ?) Dodson, one shilling.... To my wife, Catherine, the use of my Negro woman, Judith, etc ....

He married Ann ISHAM in North Farnham Parish, Richmond Co, VA, before 1722. He married Katherine wof J GOAD in North Farnham Parish, Richmond Co, VA, before 1723.

He made a will in Bedford Co, VA, 7 JUL 1771. GOAD, John. Will pro. Jul 1771. Names wwife, ann, and ch. Joanah Seviar, Elizabeth Cox, Hannah Bennett, Ann Risden, William (and his son, John), Abraham (and his son James), Robert, John (and his son Thomas).

1049 iv. Elizabeth GOAD was born in North Farnham Parish, Richmond Co, VA CA 1705. Elizabeth died 1799 at 94 years of age. She married John DODSON.

1050 v. Alice GOAD was born in North Farnham Parish, Richmond Co, VA CA 1707. Alice died 7 SEP 1767 in North Farnham Parish, Richmond Co, VA, at 60 years of age.⁽¹⁰⁶⁸⁾ She married twice. She married John FOWLER. She married Fortunatus DODSON in North Farnham Parish, Richmond Co, VA, 9 SEP 1726.⁽¹⁰⁶⁹⁾ Fortunatus died 1738 in Richmond Co, VA.⁽¹⁰⁷⁰⁾
