He married twice. He married Elizabeth Keech TEARES * in Charles Co, MD, CA JUL 1710.⁽⁹³³⁾ Elizabeth was born in MD 1689.⁽⁹³⁴⁾ Elizabeth was the daughter of Rev Hugh TEARES* and Ruth WYNN? HOLLAND?*. Elizabeth died CA JUL 1749 in MD, at approximately 60 years of age.⁽⁹³⁵⁾ He married Henrietta HILL before AUG 1758.

William MIDDLETON* and Elizabeth Keech TEARES* had the following children:

833 vii. Robert MIDDLETON was born in MD CA 1720. Robert died in GA. He married Ann wof R MIDDLETON.

834 viii. Hugh Teares MIDDLETON was born in MD CA 1722. Hugh died 30 NOV 1803 in Edgefield Co, SC, at 81 years of age. He married four times. He married Martha HAYNIE. He married Sarah wof H MIDDLETON. He married Lucy WILLIAMS. He married Agatha GARRETT.
