He married Martha Elizabeth SAMPLE in Hopewell, Simpson Co, MS, 8 JUN 1854.⁽⁶⁷⁰⁾ Martha was born in Corinth, Alcorn Co, MS 2 MAY 1833.⁽⁶⁷¹⁾ Martha died 7 APR 1864 in Simpson Co, MS, at 30 years of age.⁽⁶⁷²⁾ Her body was interred in Simpson Co, MS, Hopewell Cemetery. He married Lucy PIERCE 25 DEC 1866.⁽⁶⁷³⁾ Lucy was born 23 OCT 1840.⁽⁶⁷⁴⁾ Lucy died 5 DEC 1922 in Simpson Co, MS, at 82 years of age.⁽⁶⁷⁵⁾ Her body was interred in Simpson Co, MS, Hopewell Cemetery.
