He married Ruby Eleanor MATTHEWS * in Hinds Co, MS, 4 MAY 1919.⁽²³⁾ Ruby was born in Florence, Rankin Co, MS 23 FEB 1902.⁽²⁴⁾ Ruby⁽²⁵⁾ was the daughter of Lemuel Jasper MATTHEWS* and Delilah Eleanor PRICE*. Ruby died 10 JAN 1995 in Jackson, Hinds Co, MS, at 92 years of age. Her body was interred after 10 JAN 1995 in Richland, Rankin Co, MS, Richland Cemetery.
